I’ll Try Before You Buy: Hell-Pore Clean Up Mask Review

Anyone else get super fascinated with pimple popping and gross stuff coming out of the skin? I have seen a lot of video advertisements on Facebook lately on masks that are supposed to pull all the blackheads out of yoHell-Pore mask reviewur face. I love them, I am a huge lover of gross stuff like that which is why I wanted to try out the Hell-Pore Clean Up Mask. The Hell-Pore is an cheap $11 mask that you can purchase on Amazon (get it here). It is supposed to remove blackheads from the nose while also shrinking your pores. You can also use it as an all-over mask, however it is meant to be used on your nose.

ThisHell-Pore Mask: I'll Try Before You same brand makes the Milky Piggy Bubble Clay Mask that a lot of people have seen or heard about. This is another fun mask to try. After you put it on, it starts to foam up and you look quite ridiculous. I am a fan of this particular mask, especially for the price.

Anyway I have had the Hell-Pore mask sitting in my wish list for awhile and when I saw one of my favorite Youtubers Tati, Glamlife Guru review the Hell-Pore mask. She claimed it was a super painful mask to take off and wasn’t a huge fan of it in the end. Usually I would trust her with my life but I wanted to believe this could be as awesome as the Bubble Clay one.

Thoughts?

As far as the packaging goes, I am a huge fan. The package colorful and bright and has crazy pigs attacking what I assume are blackheads. You also get a pretty good size tube that will last awhile if you use it just on your nose area.

I wasn’t super impressed with the product.

Hell-Pore Mask: I'll Try Before You
It got a little bit out, but not much.

After reading and watching other reviews, I was expecting all of my blackheads to be ripped out and for it to seriously hurt coming off. Neither of which happened. I prepped by steaming my face to open up my pores per the instructions, then I put a thin layer on my nose area and let dry for 15 minutes. It didn’t hurt coming off at all. Remember back in grade school when you would put glue on your hand and then peel it off after it had dried? That is what it felt like. On top of it not feeling like it did anything, it didn’t remove very many blackheads. I am pretty  disappointed.

I even tried it again, but with more product thinking that I hadn’t used enough in the beginning. It still didn’t do much.

I guess for the price it didn’t do a terrible job but I don’t think I would buy it again. So this would have to be a “pass”!

  1. That price is amazing for a mask. I’m pregnant and my face is breaking out like a teenage girl. I’ve been looking for something. I’m glad I read this review, looks like I’ll be looking still.

  2. It’s really too bad that this mask didn’t live up to your expectations. Though I don’t generally have issues with blackheads now, there were times that I did and I would have loved to have found a mask that would pull them out of my skin.

  3. Shame it didn’t live upto its rep! Thankfully I don’t have blackheads but this is prob one I wouldn’t try now…

  4. You reminded me i have a mask to try out, i have been looking for one that will sort out blackheads and shrink pores, sorry to hear this one didn’t work out, i have heard just buying the clay and making it yourself is the best thing ever, so thats my next try!
